Keselowski wins Kentucky pole

SPARTA, KY (TheSpread) – Brad Keselowski set a track record during Friday’s qualifying and he will now start up front for Saturday’s Quaker State 400.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Keselowski now joins Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick as the three co-favorites to win Saturday’s race, as each has 5/1 odds.

Johnson is currently second in the point standings, 20 points out of first place. He has a series-best three wins on the year and also six top 5s. Johnson doesn’t have a win at Kentucky yet, but he has an average finish of 6.0 and a series-best driver rating of 125.9 at Kentucky. Johnson will start 25 on Saturday night.

Keselowski is currently fifth in the point standings, 68 points out of first. He has one win and seven top 5s this year. Keselowski is a former winner in Kentucky and he has an average finish of 13.7 at the track, while his driver rating is 104.8, which ranks fourth amongst current drivers.
