LONG POND, PA (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competes at Pocono Raceway today of the Pocono 400. Which drivers will contend for the win?

View Current NASCAR Odds

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win, as he has 5/1 odds, while Kevin Harvick has 6/1 odds and Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski have each been given 7/1 odds.

Here are the drivers we like

Kevin Harvick 6/1

Harvick will start fourth today and he comes in looking for his first win at Pocono. Despite that, his numbers are pretty strong at the track. He has an average finish of 14.0 at this track and he has been running strong as of late. He finished 17th last week but had a strong car and had placed second in three straight events prior to that. Look for Harvick to be a force again today.

Kasey Kahne 15/1

Kahne has had success at Pocono before, winning on this track last year. He also enters today needing a strong performance to get back into the mix for the point standings. Three straight finishes outside the top 10 have left him as an outside right now. With a strong team, Kahne should be running better and he will today. He will start 27th and have some work to do in the beginning, but look for Kahne to push his car to the front.

Live Long Shot

Paul Menard 100/1

Menard isn’t someone that is expected to win often, which is why the 100/1 odds are by his name. However, Menard has the numbers to win on Sunday. He has only one win in his Sprint Cup career, but 2014 has been a strong year for him. He has placed in the top 10 in four of his last five races and is currently a contender for the Chase based on his consistency. Menard’s 100/1 odds are worth jumping on due to his performances as of late. He is finding a way to be in the mix at the end and just needs a little luck or some good pit strategy to drive into the winner’s circle today.
