Denny Hamlin wins pole for FedEx 400
DOVER, DE (The Spread) – After winning the pole on Friday, Denny Hamlin will start first in Sunday’s FedEx 400 from Dover International Speedway.

Hamlin earned the 21st pole of his career and will start alongside Martin Truex Jr. on Sunday. Hamlin ran a lap of 160.121 MPH while Truex was second at 159. 723. Kyle Larson will start third in the FedEx 400, while Matt Kenseth will start fourth and Joey Logano fifth.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book GT Bets, Kevin Harvick is favored to win Sunday’s race at 4/1 odds while Jimmy Johnson has the next best odds at 9/2. Brad Keselowski and Kurt Busch are 8/1, respectively, while Hamlin, Logano, Truex and Kenseth are 10/1, respectively.
When the odds for this race opened, Johnson and Harvick were co-favorites at 7/2 odds. The FedEx 400 will take place on Sunday, May 31 at 1:15PM ET from Dover International Speedway.
