Food City 500 Free Picks
BRISTOL, TN (ATS CONSULTANTS) – The Food City 500 will take place on Sunday. Here is a look at the drivers to consider for Sunday’s NASCAR race.
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski are the co-favorites, as each has 6/1 odds to win while Jimmie Johnson and Matt Kenseth have been given 7/1 odds.
Here are our predictions for this weekend’s race.
Keselowski is starting in second position and he has had a strong start to the season, as he is just one point out of first place in the standings with one victory. Keselowski has an average finish of 14.4 at this track and he has one win to his credit. He has a driver rating of 94.9 at Bristol, which puts him in the top 5 of current drivers. He should be right in the mix to win.
Like Keselowski, Earnhardt Jr. is off to a great start, as he has a win an two second-placed finishes this year. He is going to start 14th in this race. He has won at Bristol one time with an average finish of 11.5 and a driver rating of 89.3. His driver rating is just 10th amongst current drivers, but things seem to be clicking for Dale Jr. this year.
Live Long Shot
Menard will start 28th in this race and he is coming off a third-place finish last week, his best of the season. He also was fourth in the Budweiser Duel during Daytona week, so he is finding his way toward the front. The key for him will be to stay out of the wrecks that can occur on this short track. If he shows patience and stays on the track, he has a chance for a big upset on Sunday.
