View Current NASCAR Odds

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win this race, as he has 6/1 odds. The other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (13-2) and Kyle Busch (15/2).

Here are our predictions for this weekend’s race.

Brad Keselowski 10/1

Keselowski won the pole and will start up front for this race. Keselowski doesn’t have a great history at Phoenix, as he is winless there with an average finish of just 17.1. His driver rating there is 85.9, which only ranks 12th amongst drivers. However, his recent history is much stronger. He finished fourth in this race a year ago and fifth two years ago. He has finished sixth or better in three of his last four races at Phoenix.

Matt Kenseth 10/1

Kenseth qualified 19th for the race. Kenseth hasn’t won this particular race, but he has won at Phoenix and his average finish at this track is 17.4. He comes into the race with a driver rating of 86.1 at Phoenix, which only ranks 11th in the series. Despite that, Kenseth has been near the front in most races for some time now. Look for him to contend again this week.

Jeff Gordon 11/1

Gordon is going to start from the 17th position. He comes into this race as a two-time winner of the event, last winning in 2011. Gordon comes into this track with an average finish of 11.5 and his driver rating is 99.4, which ranks fourth amongst current drivers. Gordon has been strong at Phoenix and that should continue today.
