The defending series champion and winner of last week’s race, Kyle Busch, is favored to take the checker flag this weekend.

Busch is a 2/1 favorite to win the race according to odds makers at the online sports book SPORTSBETTING.com. Other short odds to win are Denny Hamlin (7/2), Carl Edwards (5/1), and Kevin Harvick (11/2).

Busch has not won this event in his career and has finished outside the top 30 the last two years. His best showing at this race was a second-place finish in 2007. He sits third in the current standings.

Hamlin has not competed in the Nationwide series yet this season and he has not won this event, having competed in three of the last four years. His best finish in that span was sixth place in 2006.

Edwards finished runner-up last year in this event and also placed fifth in 2006. He has not won this event. He currently leads the standings by 24 points over Joey Logano and has placed in the top four in both races this season.

Kevin Harvick won this event in 2004 and has finished in the top 10 in 2006-08 in this event. He has competed in both Nationwide races this season, taking third in the opener, but finishing 38th last week.
