According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Earnhardt Jr. is one of six drivers that are all favored to win Sunday’s race, as he has 10/1 odds to finish first. Dale Jr. is looking to win the Daytona 500 for the second time in his career.

Earnhardt Jr. will start in ninth position for today’s race after finishing fifth in his duel race on Thursday night. This is Dale Jr.’s 15th Daytona 500 race and he is starting in the top 10 for the 13th time.

When it comes to results, Earnhardt Jr. is always in the mix in this race. He won in 2004 and has finished second three of the last four years. He has a total of eight top 10s in this race and six top 3s. He is a two-time winner overall at Daytona with an average finish of 13.8, and a driver rating of 89.7 at the track, which ranks fourth amongst current drivers.
