Kyle Busch Daytona 500 Odds

DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – Kyle Busch has won plenty of races in his career, but never the Daytona 500. Is today the day that that all changes?

According to oddsmakers at, Busch is one of six drivers that are all favored to win Sunday’s race, as he has 10/1 odds to finish first. Busch is looking to get his first win in this big race. His best finish was fourth place back in 2008.

Busch is starting back in 37th position after a poor night on Thursday in the Budweiser Duel. Busch had not had a lot of success in this race, as he has just one top 5 in his nine appearances, with only one other top 10. He placed 34th in last year’s race and has finished outside the top 20 five times.

Despite the struggles in this particular race, Busch is actually a strong driver at Daytona International Speedway when you look at the numbers. He does own a win on the track to go with five top 5s. His average finish in races at Daytona is 18.6, and his driver rating there is 96.9, which is best of any current driver.
