Earnhardt vs. Harvick Daytona Odds
DAYTONA BEACH, FL (TheSpread) – Both Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick are among the Daytona 500 favorites. Which one will have the better showing on Sunday?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Earnhardt Jr. is favored to best Harvick, as he has odds of -145 to win the pairing while Harvick has a money line of +115. The Daytona 500 will be held this Sunday from Daytona International Speedway at 1:30PM ET.
Earnhardt Jr. is entering his 16th Daytona 500. He is the defending champion and two-time winner of the event. He will start third on Sunday after winning the first Budweiser Duel race on Thursday. He has finished first or second in four of his last five Daytona 500s and his driver rating at Daytona is 90.3.
Harvick is competing in his 14th Daytona 500 and he will start from the 11th position on Sunday. Harvick hasn’t had great success in this race since winning in 2007. He has placed outside the top 10 in three of the last four years and outside the top 5 in five straight appearances. Harvick has a driver rating of 79.9 at Daytona.
