NEW YORK (AP) - A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that Raul Ibanez and the Seattle Mariners have agreed to a $2.75 million, one-year contract.
The deal allows Ibanez to earn an additional $1.25 million in performance bonuses, the person said Saturday night, speaking on condition of anonymity because the agreement had not been announced.
