 DETROIT (AP) -Outfielder Timo Perez was sent outright to the Triple-A Toledo Mud Hens on Friday by the Detroit Tigers.
The 32-year-old Perez hit .389 with 13 RBIs and 12 runs in 29 games last season.
He also has played for the New York Mets, the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis.
