PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed former Arizona reliever Mike Zagurski to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
The Pirates announced the deal Saturday.
The 29-year-old Zagurski was 0-0 with a 5.54 ERA in 45 games last season. The left-hander struck out 34 in 37 1-3 innings.
Zagurski was 1-0 with a 6.13 ERA in 82 career games with Philadelphia and the Diamondbacks.
