 NEW YORK (AP) -Tim McClelland and Randy Marsh were picked Wednesday as the umpire crew chiefs for the AL and NL championship series.
McClelland will be working his 16th postseason series. His crew for the NL matchup between Colorado and Arizona starting Thursday night in Phoenix will be Mark Wegner, Larry Vanover, Tom Hallion, Angel Hernandez and Jim Joyce.
Marsh will be working his 18th postseason series. His crew for the AL series between Cleveland and Boston beginning Friday night at Fenway Park will be Kerwin Danley, Brian Gorman, Paul Emmel, Gary Cederstrom and Dana DeMuth.
