 NEW YORK (AP) -Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Shaun Marcum will have surgery Wednesday to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Marcum aggravated the knee during Saturday's game, when he started and left after three innings. The 26-year-old right-hander went 12-6 with a 4.13 ERA in 25 starts and 13 relief appearances this year, joining the rotation in mid-May.
Toronto said he his expected to recover in four to six weeks.
