ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Rangers shortstop Michael Young aggravated a right finger injury and left the game Wednesday night against Detroit after the fourth inning.
Young has played the past few weeks with a fractured right ring finger and a cyst on his right wrist.
The five-time All-Star is 4-for-30 over his past eight games, but he had the go-ahead single in Texas’ 11-8 win over Detroit on Monday night.
Ramon Vazquez replaced Young in the lineup.
