KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Pitcher Jorge De La Rosa was activated from the disabled list Tuesday by the Kansas City Royals after missing more than a month because of a strained left elbow.
De La Rosa was 9-11 with a 5.46 ERA in 22 starts and one relief appearance before going on DL on Aug. 1.
Royals manager Buddy Bell said he will use De La Rosa in long relief, not as a starter, for the rest of the season.
