HOUSTON (AP) -Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez left in the second inning of Tuesday night’s game against the Houston Astros with blurred vision in his right eye.
Sanchez grounded out in the first inning. Luis Rivas took his position in the second.
Sanchez was hitting .360 (27-for-75) in his last 22 games. He was batting .333 (13-for-39) against Houston this season, with two homers and eight RBIs. Sanchez hit a three-run, inside-the-park homer against the Astros on July 21.
