BALTIMORE (AP) -The Cleveland Indians recalled right-hander Bryan Bullington from Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.
Bullington, who was 1-3 with a 4.75 ERA with Buffalo, will start one game of Saturday’s day/night doubleheader against Kansas City, manager Eric Wedge said.
Bullington started the season at Triple-A Indianapolis, where he was 4-6 with a 5.52 ERA. He was designated for assignment on July 3 by Pittsburgh and signed with Cleveland on July 11.
Bullington is 0-3 with a 5.89 ERA in six games with Pittsburgh in 2005 and 2007. He was with the Pirates for a week this season, but did not pitch.
