MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -The Minnesota Twins recalled utility infielder Luis Rodriguez after Friday night's doubleheader against Kansas City.
Rodriguez struggled at the plate in limited appearances with the Twins this season, batting .194 with two homers and seven RBIs in 108 at-bats.
He was sent down to Triple-A Rochester on Aug. 21, where he may have found his hitting stroke. Rodriguez hit .421 (8-for-19) in six games for the Red Wings.
