PITTSBURGH (AP) -The Cincinnati Reds optioned catcher Ryan Jorgensen to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.
Jorgensen was hitting .200 two home runs and six RBIs. The Reds will most likely make a corresponding move on Tuesday.
Catcher David Ross Ross has been on the disabled list since Aug. 13 because of a concussion sustained the day before in a home plate collision with San Diego's Mike Cameron.
