MIAMI (AP) -Florida manager Fredi Gonzalez was ejected after four innings of the game with the San Francisco Giants on Sunday.
Florida right fielder Cody Ross struck out looking to end the fourth and tossed his helmet and bat, clearly displeased with the call by home plate umpire Scott Barry. Gonzalez emerged from the dugout and briefly argued with second base umpire and crew chief Tim McClelland, who sent him off.
It was the third ejection this season for Gonzalez.
