MLB to conduct academy in China Print

 NEW YORK (AP) -Major League Baseball plans to hold its first academy in China, inviting 60 players for instruction in Wuxi from Aug. 7-26.
The players are 12 to 15 years old and were selected from existing baseball groups in Beijing, Chengdu, Dalian, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin and Wuxi. MLB will have eight instructors at the clinic led by Rick Dell, coach at The College of New Jersey.
Baseball also had held academies in Queensland, Australia, and Tirrenia, Italy.
