DENVER (AP) -Livan Hernandez is back in the National League.
The Colorado Rockies have acquired the 33-year-old right-hander off waivers from the Minnesota Twins.
The former World Series MVP and two-time All-Star was 10-8 with a 5.48 ERA in 23 starts before the Twins designated him for assignment Friday. His previous 13 seasons were in the NL with Florida (1996-99), San Francisco (1999-2002), Montreal/Washington (2003-06) and Arizona (’06-’07).
