NEW YORK (AP) -Jorge Posada wasn't in the starting lineup for the New York Yankees' game against the Kansas City Royals on Friday night due to a bruised left knee.
The All-Star catcher injured the knee in a collision at the plate with Danny Richar in the eighth inning of Thursday's 13-9 loss to the Chicago White Sox.
``It should be all right by tomorrow, hopefully,'' Posada said.
Jose Molina replaced Posada at catcher.
