SAN DIEGO (AP) -Barry Bonds was in the San Francisco Giants' starting lineup Friday night at Petco Park, still one home run short of tying Hank Aaron's career record.
Bonds went into the game against San Diego with 754 homers. Greg Maddux was scheduled to pitch for the Padres; Bonds has eight homers against Maddux, matching his most against any pitcher.
