CHICAGO (AP) -The White Sox recalled infielder Danny Richar from Triple-A Charlotte on Saturday.
Richar will make his big league debut Saturday at second base against the Blue Jays. He fills the roster spot vacated by second baseman Tadahito Iguchi, who was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday for minor league pitcher Michael Dubee.
The 24-year-old Richar started the season as a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He hit .305 with 13 home runs and 61 RBIs between Triple-A Tucson and Charlotte this season.
He was traded from the Diamondbacks on June 16 for outfielder Aaron Cunningham.
