DENVER (AP) -Matt Holliday tied a career-high with four hits, including a home run and two doubles, and Aaron Cook pitched a complete game to lead Colorado to a 10-2 victory over San Diego on Wednesday.
Ryan Spilborghs had a tiebreaking homer and three RBIs for the Rockies, while Garrett Atkins had three hits and three RBIs.
Cook (7-6) allowed seven hits, struck out two and walked none, needing just 74 pitches to win his second straight start after going 1-5 in his previous nine outings.
Justin Germano (6-5) gave up six runs and seven hits in five innings.
Spilborghs' leadoff homer in the fifth put Colorado ahead 3-2 and the Rockies blew open the game with a four-run sixth.
Holliday hit his 18th homer in the second to bring Colorado within 2-1.
