SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -Barry Bonds took a called strike in the 10th inning on Tuesday night, his second of the game, and remained two home runs from tying Hank Aaron's record of 755.
With two outs, the game tied at 4 and the count 2-2 against Atlanta reliever Oscar Villarreal, Bonds went down looking.
He was 1-for-4 against Atlanta Braves starter Tim Hudson. He grounded out in the second inning and singled in the fourth. He took a called third strike in the seventh, and popped out to third in the ninth.
