BOSTON (AP) -Boston Red Sox right fielder J.D. Drew left the game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night because of tightness in his right hamstring.
Drew doubled to lead off the third inning and later scored. He was replaced in the field by Eric Hinske in the fourth.
According to Red Sox spokesman John Blake, Drew felt tightness in his hamstring while running the bases.
