WASHINGTON (AP) -The Detroit Tigers optioned right-hander Yorman Bazardo to Triple-A Toledo on Monday and recalled right-hander Eulogio De La Cruz from the Mud Hens.
Bazardo, who was recalled June 7 from Toledo, was 0-0 with a 4.15 ERA in four relief appearances. As a starter in Toledo, he was 4-3 with a 3.77 ERA.
De La Cruz, who was 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in four relief outings with Toledo, was in uniform Monday night for the start of a three-game series at Washington. He was promoted to Toledo from Double-A Erie after going 4-5 with a 3.57 ERA in 10 starts.
