SEATTLE (AP) -The Seattle Mariners recalled left-hander Ryan Feierabend from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday, less than two weeks after he earned his first major league victory.
Feierabend, 21, made two starts for Seattle before he was optioned back to Tacoma to clear a spot in the rotation for Jeff Weaver's return from the disabled list. Feierabend was 1-1 with a 5.14 ERA.
Left-handed reliever Jake Woods was sent back to Tacoma to make room for Feierabend. Woods pitched one perfect inning in Wednesday's loss at the Chicago Cubs.
