KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Kansas City reliever Brandon Duckworth left Wednesday night's game after throwing just two pitches.
There was no immediate word on what was wrong with the right-hander. He relieved starter Odalis Perez with two on and no outs in the fourth inning against St. Louis. He left without officially facing a batter, giving way to Joel Peralta with an 0-2 count on Juan Encarnacion.
