SAN DIEGO (AP) – The New York Mets have reinstated right-hander Dillon Gee from the 15-day disabled list and he started Wednesday night’s game against the San Diego Padres.
Gee, on the disabled list with a right groin strain retroactive to May 4, is 0-2 with a 3.86 ERA in five starts.
The Mets optioned infielder Danny Muno to Triple-A Las Vegas.
