DENVER (AP) -St. Louis catcher Yadier Molina left the Cardinals’ game against the Colorado Rockies in the fourth inning Tuesday night after taking a foul ball off his left wrist an inning earlier.
Molina was hit by a foul tip from Todd Helton. Molina came out for the fourth, but trainers were summoned after Braden Looper walked the first two batters of the inning.
Molina, who was 0-for-1, was replaced by Gary Bennett. The Cardinals didn’t reveal the severity of the injury.
