CHICAGO (AP) -Chicago’s Joe Crede was ejected for the third time in his career after arguing balls and strikes during the fourth inning of the White Sox’s game against the Cleveland Indians on Tuesday night.
Crede had words with plate umpire Wally Bell after being called out on strikes in the second inning. And he got tossed after Bell called him out on a pitch that might have been low and outside in the fourth. Crede flipped his bat as he started to walk away. The bat hit the ground, Crede picked it up and held his arms out. Bell then threw him out – his first ejection since April 15, 2007 at Cleveland.
Pablo Ozuna replaced Crede at third base.
