ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Los Angeles Angels pitcher Hector Carrasco and manager Mike Scoscia were ejected in the seventh inning of Sunday's game against the Texas Rangers after the right-hander hit Ian Kinsler with a pitch.
Plate umpire Alfonso Marquez ejected Carrasco, and Scoscia was tossed for the second time this season and 18th time in his career. Scioscia came onto the field to argue with Marquez over Carrasco's ejection.
Rangers reliever Joaquin Benoit had plunked the Angels' Gary Matthews Jr. in the top of the seventh. Matthews, who had homered twice in the game, glared at his former teammate before going to first base.
