CHICAGO (AP) -White Sox utilityman Alexei Ramirez was reinstated from the restricted list Wednesday after he missed a four-game series in Toronto because of visa problems.
Ramirez, a rookie from Cuba whom the White Sox signed in the offseason, is batting .121 (4-for-33) with two RBIs.
Chicago optioned right-hander Adam Russell to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday. He didn't make any appearances during the four games against the Blue Jays.
