A look at what’s happening all around the major leagues Tuesday:

WELCOME BACK
After a long road back to the big leagues, Chad Billingsley is expected to make his first start in more than two years. The Philadelphia Phillies are expected to activate Billingsley from the 15-day disabled list to pitch against Atlanta right-hander Shelby Miller. It will be Billingsley’s first start since April 15, 2013, for the Los Angeles Dodgers against San Diego. Billingsley had Tommy John surgery followed by an operation to repair a partially torn flexor tendon.
HANLEY’S HEALTH
The Boston Red Sox hope for good news about left fielder Hanley Ramirez, who sprained his left shoulder Monday night against Tampa Bay. Ramirez ran into a padded side wall while attempting to catch James Loney’s slicing fly and came out of the game at Fenway Park. He was replaced by Allen Craig. Ramirez missed the final two months of the 2011 season after spraining the same shoulder with the Marlins.
NEW LEADERSHIP
The last-place Milwaukee Brewers play their second game under new manager Craig Counsell since Ron Roenicke was fired Sunday night. They face the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers and right-hander Zack Greinke, who tries to improve to 5-0.
NORTH OF THE BORDER
New York Yankees right-hander Michael Pineda is 0-2 in three career starts at Toronto. Pineda (3-0) has won his past five decisions, dating to last September. Marco Estrada makes his first start of the season for the Blue Jays, replacing recently demoted rookie Daniel Norris in the rotation.
ON THE MOUND
Mat Latos (0-3) looks for his first win with his hometown team when he pitches for the Miami Marlins against Stephen Strasburg (2-2) and the surging Washington Nationals.
