FRISCO, Texas (AP) -Rangers left-hander Kason Gabbard gave up one run in four innings Saturday in a rehab start with Double-A Frisco.
Gabbard was put on the 15-day disabled list last month because of a sore back. The Rangers have indicated that he could return to their rotation Thursday in Seattle.
Gabbard threw just 30 pitches in the first three innings but needed 35 more to finish the fourth, when he walked three batters and forced in a run. Gabbard said he became a ``little fatigued'' in his last inning.
``I was happy with my outing,'' said Gabbard, who struck out six.
Gabbard is 1-0 in four starts with a 2.18 ERA.
