 PHOENIX (AP) -Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Conor Jackson left Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants with cuts on his right hand after he was thrown out on a headfirst slide into home plate.
X-rays were negative, and Jackson could return to the lineup when the Diamondbacks play at the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night.
Jackson was hurt in the second inning. Tony Clark replaced him at first base.
