CLEVELAND (AP) -Indians manager Eric Wedge was ejected in the first inning of Friday night's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Wedge yelled at plate umpire Bill Miller while Baltimore starter Steve Trachsel was pitching to the Indians' second hitter, Casey Blake. Miller gestured to Wedge in the Cleveland dugout to keep quiet. When Wedge kept yelling, Miller ejected him. Wedge then jogged out of the dugout to continue the argument for a few seconds. It was Wedge's first ejection of the season. |
