ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -Minnesota Twins right-hander Scott Baker left his start Saturday night start against the Texas Rangers in the fifth inning with a mild groin strain.
The Rangers had runners on first and third with one out when Minnesota manager Ron Gardenhire and a team trainer went to the mound to check on Baker. After talking with Baker, Gardenhire summoned right-hander Matt Guerrier from the bullpen and walked with Baker to the dugout.
