BALTIMORE (AP) -Two fans injured at Camden Yards when a person fell from the club level to the lower deck were released from the hospital Friday, the Orioles said.
The accident happened Thursday night near the end of Baltimore’s 6-5 win over the Chicago White Sox. The fan who fell from the club level landed on another person in the seating area below.
Fire Department spokesman Chief Kevin Cartwright said one fan reported chest pains after the accident. The Orioles declined to provide the names of the people involved.
Emergency medical technicians and police attended to the injured pair in the seats along the first-base line. There was a broken stadium seat.
“The Orioles and the Maryland Stadium Authority are diligently reviewing the matter, and we will pass along appropriate information as it becomes available,” the team said in a statement.
