CLEVELAND (AP) -Former Cleveland Indians vice president and part-owner Nate Dolin died Sunday of pneumonia in Rancho Mirage, Calif., where he spent winters. He was 95.
According to The Cleveland Indians Encyclopedia, Bill Veeck sold the Indians in 1949 for $2.2 million to a seven-member group including Dolin and headed by insurance executive Ellis Ryan. Dolin sold his share in 1962.
Services are scheduled for Friday at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, Calif.
