CLEVELAND (AP) -Ryan Sweeney left the Oakland Athletics' game against the Cleveland Indians on Saturday night because of a strained right quadriceps muscle.
The outfielder bounced into a double play against Cleveland starter Fausto Carmona in the third inning, then was lifted for pinch-hitter Chris Denorfia in the fourth.
Sweeney is hitting .348 (8-for-23) with three RBIs in 11 games this season.
