SAN DIEGO (AP) -Padres rookie third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff left Monday night's game against San Francisco with a bruised left elbow.
Kouzmanoff was hit by a pitch from Matt Cain with two outs in the fourth. He played another inning then was replaced by Russell Branyan in the top of the sixth.
X-rays were negative and Kouzmanoff was listed as day to day.
Kouzmanoff hit a game-winning single in the 10th inning Sunday for a 2-1 win over Colorado, breaking out of a 2-for-20 season-opening slump.
