TORONTO (AP) -First baseman Kevin Millar signed a minor league contract with the Blue Jays on Wednesday and was invited to major league spring training camp.
Millar hit .234 with 20 home runs and 72 RBIs for Baltimore last season, the third 20-homer season of his 11-year career.
Millar reached the major leagues with Florida in 1998 and also played three seasons with Boston, winning the World Series in 2004.
A career .277 hitter with 163 home runs and 670 RBIs, he has also played third base, right field, left field and designated hitter.
