SEATTLE (AP) -Left-hander Horacio Ramirez and the Seattle Mariners agreed Friday to a $2.75 million, one-year contract that avoided salary arbitration.
Ramirez made $2.65 million last year when he had an 8-7 record with a 7.16 ERA in 20 games. The 28-year-old can earn $300,000 more in performance bonuses: $100,000 each for 150, 175 and 200 innings.
