Braves Struggle

The Atlanta Braves look to get their struggling lineup untracked Wednesday night when they try for a split of a four-game set with the Florida Marlins.
Atlanta (33-26) and Florida (29-31) split Tuesday's doubleheader, but the Braves continue to struggle with their bats. They didn't get a hit until the seventh inning in a 5-1 loss in the nightcap after not scoring for the first six innings of a 3-1 victory in the opener. |

Schmidt Faces Padres

Jason Schmidt threw only 57 pitches in a matchup with the San Diego Padres nearly seven weeks ago. Although Schmidt will be limited, the Los Angeles Dodgers hope he can go a little longer this time.

Hirsh Faces Astros

Hirsh takes the mound for the Colorado Rockies against the Houston Astros on Tuesday night at Coors Field, where the right-hander will oppose the team that traded him in December.
