2018 American League Pennant Odds
Will the Houston Astros repeat as American League Champions in 2018? Oddsmakers certainly like the Astros’ chances to accomplish the feat but Houston currently shares its odds with another team.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Astros and the Cleveland Indians both of the same odds to win the American League pennant at 11/4. Houston, of course, won the World Series last year while Cleveland blew a 2-0 series lead to the Yankees and went home before making another appearance in the American League Championship Series.
Bet American League Championship Odds
Speaking of the Yankees, the Bronx Bombers have the next-best odds behind the Indians and Astros to win the American League pennant at 7/2. The Yankees will have a new manager in Aaron Boone, who replaces Joe Girardi, but will return Rookie of the Year Aaron Judge in right field. The Yankees are expected to be active this offseason as well.
Continuing with the current AL pennant odds, the Red Sox are 9/2 to win, while the Mariners, Rays and Blue Jays are all 15/1, respectively. The White Sox are 25/1 long-shots to accomplish the feat, as are the Angels. Clubs with similar odds are the Orioles, Twins and Rangers, who are all 30/1, respectively.
The Royals and A’s both have 40/1 odds, respectively, to win the American League Championship while the Tigers have the longest odds by a long shot at 150/1. After years of competing for a pennant themselves, the Tigers are now heading into an offseason in which they expect to be in full rebuild mode.
